This wax puck lets you create beeswax wraps from scratch. Made with suitable fabric* and relying on the natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of beeswax and pine resin, beeswax wraps keep your food fresher longer, retain its moisture content and allow it to breathe. An amazing alternative to plastic wrap! Great for fruit, vegetables, sandwiches, cheese and more (not for use with raw meat).
The beeswax in this puck is combined with organic jojoba oil and pine resin to make wraps that stay flexible and have enough tack to cling to containers and themselves. While the exact number of wraps depends on the size and weight of the fabric you supply, each puck contains enough wax to cover approximately 196 square inches of fabric. You can also use it to refresh the wax of an existing wrap.
Each puck is roughly 37g, with some variation in weight from hand-pouring. Instructions included.
*Lightweight, 100% cotton fabric, such as poplin, is recommended.
